Sometimes we build up walls - not to keep people out but to see who cares enough to knock them down.
I used to believe in this statement but like everything currently going on in my life right now, my perspective on this quote altered. Stop trying to break down my walls; I constructed them up for a reason, you know. I just want to be isolated for a moment, without everyone bombarding questions in my face. I know you guys care for me and everything, but you don’t understand what I’m feeling. You won’t understand what I’m feeling. & I don’t think you could even understand if you gave it your best effort. I just need room to myself to clarify things & who knows? maybe these walls would crumble before your eyes.
